1. High thermal efficiency
Because the dryer is heat conduction, the heat transfer direction is basically consistent in the whole heat transfer cycle, so the heat supplied in the drum is mostly used for the wet vaporization of the material, and the thermal efficiency is up to 80%~90%.
2. High drying rate
The heat transfer and mass transfer process of the wet film on the cylinder wall, from the inner to the outside, the direction is consistent, the temperature gradient is large, so that the surface of the material film to maintain a high evaporation intensity, generally up to 30~70 kg/(㎡.h).
3. Stable drying
Quality Because the heating mode is easy to control, the heat transfer rate between the cylinder temperature and the wall can be kept relatively stable, so that the material film is dry under the heat transfer state, and the quality of the product can be guaranteed. However, the drum dryer also has its drawbacks, mainly: because of the high surface humidity of the drum, so some products will be due to overheating and damage flavor or abnormal color.
In addition, the use of vacuum dryers, the cost is higher, only applicable to very high thermal sensitivity of the treatment of materials.
