What Are The Main Structural Features Of Colloid Mill?

Aug 23, 2022 Leave a message

The basic principle of the colloid mill is that the fluid or semi-fluid material passes between the fixed teeth and the movable teeth which are relatively linked at high speed, so that the material is subjected to strong shearing force, frictional force and high-frequency vibration. This machine is mainly used in food industry, chemical industry, daily chemical industry, pharmaceutical industry, construction industry and other industries.

The following editor briefly introduces the main structural characteristics of the colloid mill, as follows:

1. Imported stator and rotor core components are made of high quality anti-corrosion and anti-wear materials with long service life.

2. The colloid mill motor is controlled by a frequency converter, the current impact is small, and the speed can be adjusted according to requirements.

3. Internal tooth structure, small size and low energy consumption.

4. It can shear and grind various modified asphalt varieties such as SBS, SBR, EVA, PE, waste rubber powder and rock asphalt.

5. The colloid mill gap can be adjusted within the range of 0.1 to 5mm.

6. Asphalt with up to 20% polymer can be successfully over-ground at one time, the minimum particle size of SBS can reach 0.1 μm, and the shear grinding capacity is 10 times that of ordinary colloid mill, which greatly shortens the residence time of asphalt at high temperature and prevents High temperature aging.
