Since this intelligent dehumidification tumble dryer is a fully enclosed design, and it has a dehumidification system and temperature control system installed inside, we can directly control the temperature and humidity inside each basket without controlling the temperature and humidity of the entire softgel capsule drying room. In other words, we do not need to design a separate softgel capsule drying room. Placing the intelligent dehumidification tumble dryer at room temperature can achieve rapid and thorough drying of the softgel capsules.

Working Principle

The softgel capsules just encapsulated from the softgel encapsulation machine contain a lot of water. During the drying process in the rotating tumble dryer basket, a large amount of humid air will be generated. After being processed by the fan on the dehumidifier, the humid air enters the dehumidifier through the return air port of the dehumidifier. The dehumidifier processes the humid air and turns it into dry air. The dry air enters the intelligent tumble dryer baskets through an air inlet installed above the tumble dryer baskets. This cycle repeats until the softgel capsule reaches the set temperature and humidity (the temperature and humidity sensor is installed inside the tumble dryer basket, which will detect the temperature and humidity of the capsule and transmit it to the initial system). The softgel capsule enters the next basket of the intelligent tumble dryer for the next drying step. The hot and humid air discharged from the dehumidifier will be discharged to the outside from the exhaust port of the workshop (there will be a centralized exhaust duct to collect all the hot and humid air generated inside the tumble dryer for centralized discharge); the air supply volume of the air supply fan is greater than the processing air volume of the dehumidifier, and the insufficient air volume is supplemented from the rotating cage through the air volume regulating valve, thus completing an air supply cycle. The increase in air volume is beneficial to the dehumidification of the capsule.

Equipment Classification

For the moment, we have two style of intelligent dehumidification softgel drying tumble dryer: one is single layer with bigger basket--diameter1000x1200(l)mm and the other one is double layer(double decker) with smaller dryin basket--diameter700x1200(l)mm.

The single layer intelligent tumble dryer is big and the loading capacity of each basket is big, it is suitable for small softgel encapsulation machine production softgel fully drying in tumble dryers. And 2 basket is enough for our JL-100II softgel machine and JL-150III servo automatic softgel machine. Compared with tray drying, this intelligent softgel drying system just occupy a tiny small footprint.

The basket of the double decker softgel drying intelligent tumbler is smaller but since it is double layer, same footprint can bare 2 baskets with almost double loading capacity of the single layer one, so it is suitable for large softgel encapsulation machine like our JL-250II and JL-250III high speed servo softgel making machine.

For large softgel production line, double deck intelligent dehumidification tumbler is more cost-effective. For 8 hours production, 18 baskets is enough, while for 24 hours production, 28 basket is enough.
